3. It is a structure that expresses parallel increase or decrease. There is an increase in the first part that contributres to the decrease in the second part. The structure is the + comparative (in the first part) and the + comparative (in the second part).
e.g. The more you study, the easier to pass the exams.
       The more money you have, the better house you can buy.
       The more aggressive you are, the less friends you have

My favourite weekend

"My favourite weekend was from Friday, 30th October 2015 to Sunday, 31st October 2015. On Friday, after school, I was in Silvia's house because we had to do some work for biology class. When we finished, we went to Santa Marta with friends to trick-or-treat. It was really fun ! 
The next day, I went to my two villages to put flowers on my grandparents' graves. Then, I met a friend that I hadn't seen since last summer. I was very happy because she is a good friend and I love her so much. We took pictures and we were talking for houses. After eating, we all came back home. I love that weekend because I went to my villages and, especially, because I saw my friend who lives far from here."

World Book Day : My favourite book

Mistake corrections. Correct the mistakes in your essays !

Dear students, 
As you keep making the same mistakes over and over again, I think it would be a good idea for you to reflect on the mistakes you make. Let's see how it works :

- It is knowledge that a person is different to other.

- There area few things that some people can change for being better with the rest. 

- People should think what the say before to talk and not lie to your friends. 

- I think that this people don't have a personality.

- Another example of hypocritical behaviour is a person who says that he is Christian but never attend masses and never help people. 

- The government warm that smoking can kill us. 

- In my opinion, an hypocritical behaviour is the attitude that someone has when he is with other people. 

- When people tell not to smoke because it's bad for your health. 

- Also, there is hypocrisy when little kids cry. 

- It is also hypocritical to defend something about a topic, but then you don't carry out it. 

Well, did you reflect on your mistakes ? Maybe next time you won't make the same mistakes again.

April Fools' Day

"April Fools ! " Should you hear these words, it means two things : 1) it is April, 1st; 2) someone has just pulled a prank on you ! Why ? It's April Fools' Day. On this day, people pull prank and spread rumours and hoaxes. The media also invent some fake -flabbergasting - news and some people usually fall for them or buy them ! Yeah ! This is similar to Spain's Innocents' Day (28th December). This day goes back to the year 1957, where the BBC broadcast people picking spaghetti from plants. The audience thought it all was true and phoned the station to buy these plants ! Here you can watch it in the video :
